2017 Economic & Housing Outlook
We have a little more than half the year in economic and housing performance to understand what has happened.  Will the rest of the year continue the trend or will we see a turn?  Housing has been a challenge throughout the recovery but there is still plenty of room to grow.  What have been the dominant trends in home construction for 2017 and what will the rest of the year offer in terms of housing and residential construction?  Housing has posted a slow and modest recovery, but the demographic trends are quite favorable for building.  Will growth continue into 2018 and what constraints exist for industry expansion?  Dr. Robert Dietz will address the pace of the housing recovery to date and provide evidence of where it will go next year along with details on what is being built and why.
